Description
With our baking mix, anyone can quickly and easily bake delicious, gluten-free bread. Oats are a naturally gluten-free grain and a true superfood with valuable vitamins and minerals, such as B vitamins, vitamin E, potassium, iron, and zinc. This whole-grain bread also scores points with its high protein content and filling fiber. Oats are particularly rich in the fiber beta-glucan, making oat bread the perfect basis for a healthy breakfast. This baking mix uses delicate, gluten-free oat flakes, which are handcrafted in Spielberger Mühle's own flake mill.

Also add: 1 sachet of dried yeast, 35 ml cooking oil, 480 ml water
Preparation time: approx. 10 mins
Proving time: 30 mins
Baking time: approx. 55 mins
Preparation:
Add the dried yeast to the baking mix in a bowl and mix well. Add the water and oil and knead everything with a mixer fitted with a dough hook until you have a very sticky, soft dough.
Leave the dough to rise and expand in a warm place for approx. 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat).
Grease a loaf pan (25 x 11 cm) with oil and add the dough. Smooth the surface with wet hands and brush with oil.
Bake in the preheated oven on the middle rack for 50-60 minutes. Fill a small, ovenproof bowl with hot water and place it on the stovetop. After 10 minutes of baking, reduce the temperature to
180°C.
The bread is ready when it sounds hollow when you tap the bottom of the baking tin. Remove the finished bread from the baking tin immediately and allow it to cool on a rack.
Can also be made in a bread maker.
Variations:
Sprinkle the bread with gluten-free oat flakes or seeds before baking.
Knead up to 4 tablespoons of seeds into the mixed bread dough.
