Description
  • Fine Organic Acacia Honey from Northern Greece
  • Our Greek organic acacia honey is harvested during the short spring flowering season of the acacia trees in northern Greece. During this flowering period, which lasts only about 20 days, a particularly light, clear, and mild honey with a delicate floral aroma is produced.
  • Its silky-smooth consistency and gentle sweetness make acacia honey one of the most popular honeys in Europe.
  • Natural & unpasteurized
  • Particularly mild and delicately floral
  • Remains liquid for a long time thanks to its naturally high fructose content
  • Taste:
  • Acacia honey is among the mildest honeys and impresses with its clear, elegant aroma.
  • Typical flavor notes:
  • Delicately floral
  • Pleasantly mild
  • Fine natural sweetness
  • Very clear and light
  • Limited spring flowering season
  • Acacia honey is only produced during the short flowering season of the acacia trees in spring. This period usually only lasts about two to three weeks, which is why acacia honey is one of the rarer types of honey.
  • During this time, the bees collect the nectar from the acacia blossoms and produce a particularly clear and elegant honey.
  • Natural Honey
  • Our honey is processed with particular care:
  • unpasteurized
  • unmicrofiltered
  • free of additives
  • The honey comes directly from the beehive and is bottled gently to preserve its natural properties.
  • Why does acacia honey stay liquid for so long?
  • Acacia honey naturally contains more fructose and less glucose than many other types of honey. This means it crystallizes much more slowly and often remains clear and liquid for a long time. This honey is produced in the northernmost part of Greece and is completely free of any additives, as it comes directly from the beehive.
