Preheat oven. Top/bottom heat: about 160°C Fan: about 140°C The Dr. Oetker test kitchen recommends baking the marble cloud using top/bottom heat. 2 Prepare the dough Put the baking mix in a mixing bowl. Add the cream and eggs and mix with a mixer (beaters) briefly on the lowest setting, then on the highest setting for 3 minutes until you have a smooth dough. Pour 2/3 of the dough into the pan and smooth it out. Mix the remaining batter with the mixture containing cocoa and milk. Spread the dark batter on top of the light batter and use a fork to create a marbled pattern. Sift half of the decorative sugar directly onto the batter. 3 Bake the tin on the rack in the oven. Insertion: lower third Baking time: about 45-50 mins. After 45 minutes, test for doneness. To do this, pierce the middle of the cake with a wooden skewer. If the skewer is dry and no batter sticks to it, the cake is done. Immediately loosen the edge of the springform pan using a table knife and remove. Allow the cake to cool on the springform pan base on a cake rack. Turn the cake out onto a cutting board or flat plate lined with baking paper and carefully peel off the baking paper that came with it. Place the cake plate on top of the cake and turn it back over. Sprinkle with the remaining decorative sugar before serving.;
