Instructions for use and application:
1. Grease the base of the springform pan and line it with baking paper. Preheat oven. Top/bottom heat: approx. 170°C, fan oven: approx. 150°C. Put the baking mix for the dough into a mixing bowl, add margarine or butter and eggs. Mix everything with a hand mixer on the highest speed for about 3 minutes until you have a smooth dough. Pour the dough into the springform pan, smooth it out and place it on the rack in the lower third of the oven. Baking time: approx. 30 minutes. Loosen the edge of the springform pan. Turn the cake out onto a wire rack lined with baking paper and let it cool. 2. Cut the cake in half horizontally. Place a cake ring around the bottom layer and cut the top layer into equal pieces. Tip: If you don't have a cake ring, use a cleaned, lightly greased, and lined springform pan. 3. For the filling, first whip the cream until stiff peaks form. Then, whisk together the filling mix and water until smooth. Stir in the quark. Finally, fold in the cream. Spread the filling on the base, top with the cake slices, and press down lightly. Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours. Loosen the cake ring with a damp knife and remove. Dust the cake with decorative sugar.
