Storage and usage instructions:
Preparation This package contains: 280g baking mix 75g mix for the topping 15g mix with cocoa 110g cocoa-based glaze You will need: Springform pan (Ø 26cm), e.g. Dr. Oetker a little fat And you add: 1 jar of sour cherries (drained weight 350 g) 200 g very soft butter 2 eggs (size M) 175 ml cold milk 1 Preparation and prepare the dough Grease the bottom of the springform pan. Preheat oven. Top/bottom heat: about 170°C Fan: about 150°C Drain the sour cherries well in a sieve. Put the baking mix in a mixing bowl. Add 100 g butter, eggs and 3 tbsp milk. Mix everything with a mixer (beaters) briefly on the lowest speed, then on the highest speed in 3 minutes until you have a smooth dough. Pour half of the dough into the pan and smooth it out. Mix the remaining dough with the mixture containing cocoa and 1 tbsp milk and smooth it out on the light dough. Distribute the cherries on top, leaving about 1 cm free at the edges. Put the pan on the rack in the oven. Insertion: lower third Baking time: about 40 mins. Remove the rim of the springform pan and the cake from the base, but leave to cool on a wire rack with the springform pan base on it. 2 Topping Place the base on a cake plate. Put the topping mix in a mixing bowl, add 100g very soft butter (not liquid) and 125ml cold milk. Briefly mix everything with a mixer (beaters) on the lowest speed, then beat on the highest speed for 2 minutes until creamy. Pour the cream onto the base and spread it evenly. Place the cake in the fridge. 3 Glazing Bring water to the boil in a saucepan, remove from the heat and leave the icing bag in it for 5 minutes. Leave the bag on a kitchen towel to cool for 15 minutes. Dry the bag, knead it well, cut it open and spread the icing on the topping with a pastry brush. Carefully use a fork to draw a wavy pattern through the icing. Chill the cake until ready to serve.
